Help Eingel Recover From Gender Affirming Surgery

My partner, Eingel (she/they), is scheduled for gender affirming surgery at the end of February! This surgery has been long awaited and is vital for her physical and mental well being. It is a procedure that would allow her to move through the world with greater ease and physical safety. It is also a very expensive procedure that we can’t afford. Not without some support.

The estimated recovery time for this surgery is at least 2 months, and due to a volatile and inhospitable workplace, Eingel is recently unemployed. As a result, we no longer have health insurance. My income is small and pays half of the rent at best. Which is to say, money is already tight and we would need community support in order to pay for rent, utilities and food during the recovery process.
