PLEASE HELP ME HELP QUINN; IT TAKES A VILLAGE.
URGENT!! My sweet, beautiful son, Quinn, who I adopted as a high-risk infant, is experiencing extreme mental health issues. He is currently 14 years-old and diagnosed with Disruptive Mood Disregulation Disorder (DMDD which is a precursor to Bipolar disorder), depression with suicidal tendencies, anxiety, and ADHD. After many extremely difficult years of psychiatric programs and admissions including inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, short term residential, he and I have both realized he needs a long term more intensive residential psychiatric program to help him manage the intense behaviors and emotions that accompany his diagnoses. Also, for the physical safety and mental well-being of both his sister, Olivia, and me, he cannot return home to live with this at this time. Unfortunately, he does not qualify for long-term residential psychiatric care through our insurances. Our only option is his placement in a therapeutic boarding school for 1-2 years but the cost exceeds my income and medical loan (tuition for these therapy schools is between $4k and 12k monthly, and, we have found excellent programs at the lower end of this range). Please help Quinn by contributing ASAP to this GoFundMe as I truly feel, without placement in a therapeutic boarding school, his life will quickly go down a very dark path from which there may be no return.
