Eileen, Donnie, their beautiful daughter Dominique, and their beloved furbabies—five dogs and a cat they have lovingly rescued over the years—recently experienced a devastating house fire that shocked our entire neighborhood on Lakeview Circle. On the night of January 20, 2026, tragedy struck when their home was engulfed in flames. While the family heartbreakingly lost a puppy and a cat, our incredible first responders and the Fire Rescue Team of Panama City Beach and Bay County were able to save the rest of their dogs and all the family members. Sadly, the fire destroyed their house and all their possessions, even melting their phones and car key fobs. Eileen, who had previously suffered a stroke and is paralyzed on one side, miraculously escaped the fast-spreading fire. The family is deeply grateful to the heroes who responded that night and to the community, which has already shown so much kindness through donations of clothing, money, cards, and food. The Red Cross also provided immediate help and comfort. However, the road to recovery will be long and challenging. Eileen and her family need ongoing support for temporary housing, replacing essentials, caring for their pets, and eventually rebuilding their home. Every bit of help—prayers, donations, water, pet food, clothes, or simply sharing this fundraiser—makes a difference. Please consider supporting this sweet family as they begin to rebuild their lives after such a heartbreaking loss. Your caring and generosity mean the world to them. Thank you for being a blessing in their time of need, and may we all continue to look out for one another.
