Egon has always been a playful, loving, and curious little guy--the kind of cat who brightens every room he walks into. Recently, though, he’s been going through something no pet should have to endure.

Out of nowhere, Egon began experiencing seizures. It’s been terrifying to watch, and he's been rushed to the vet multiple times trying to understand what’s happening. So far, vets suspect it could be related to a severe inner ear infection, but there are still no clear answers. He’s currently being treated with Clavamox and Phenobarbital to manage infection and seizures, but this is only part of the battle.

To truly understand what’s going on and give Egon the best chance at recovery, he urgently needs an MRI. This will help determine whether the seizures are caused by something neurological, an infection, or another underlying issue--and guide the treatment that could bring him back to his happy, healthy self.

The cost of his emergency visits, medications, and ongoing care has already added up quickly, and the MRI alone is a major expense. We’re hoping to raise $5,000 to help cover these costs and continue his care without delay.

Egon means the world to us. Watching him go through this has been heartbreaking, but we’re doing everything we can to help him heal.

Now, he does have insurance, but because of a lot of his pre-existing conditions, he's not qualified for a lot of the reimburstments.
