Help Egg Stay Alive

This beautiful and loving boy has been in our lives for 2 and a half years but today we received terrible news that there's something wrong with his kidneys. We don't have all the details right now but his red blood cells count is very low, he's dehydrated, and his kidneys are slightly enlarged. Interacting with him we could tell something was off but nothing that indicated we were in a life or death situation. The shock from the severity of the issues has not worn off. 


My little buddy stuck to my side through the entirety of my covid recovery and I can't bear the thought of losing him at such a young age.


The estimate I was given by the hospital was around $3000 on top of the exam/bloodwork/xray that's already been done to figure out what's going on with my little boy.  This amount would be due in a few days, but it's all coming from credit and borrowed money. 


Any and all money donated would be going directly to this relatively massive bill and even if the goal is not met any donations are greatly appreciated because it's not an expense we were ready for or even could fathom existing.
