Edwin, a devoted husband and father, was detained on August 18th at a Home Depot in Inglewood while simply trying to find work to support his family. Now, his wife and children are facing an unimaginable reality — left without their primary provider, no safety net, and no clear path forward.

Edwin had already enrolled in a government asylum program that offered hope and protection, but it was abruptly cancelled by the current administration. Like thousands of others, his family was left in limbo — vulnerable to detention, discrimination, and financial instability.

His detention has created a sudden crisis. Edwin’s family urgently needs help covering rent and basic utilities by Friday, September 5th, or they risk losing their home.
