Hello all. This is Gloria Moncada. I’ve been friends with Edwin Bergeron for many years as it’s been going on 30 years since we first met at The Italian Pie. Edwin needs our help. He’s been transferred out of at UMC ICU as he has a long road of recovery that may span weeks and is unable to work having no medical coverage. He has a stomach infection, pancreatitis, and an enlarged liver. He will need surgery on his gall bladder, large intestine, and liver. He’s very weak, cannot walk, and resting through this whole process. If there’s anything you can contribute to help Edwin during this difficult time it would go to help paying expenses such as rent, utilities, and medical costs. Hopefully in a month’s time, Edwin will be able to get back on his feet and earn his independence again but now he could really use this help. Any amount would be greatly appreciated as we are trying to preserve his home while he’s in the hospital.
