Edwin Kogo, a recent graduate of Duke's Master of Divinity program, is about to enter an exciting and challenging new chapter with his family. He is currently pursuing an appointment within the United Methodist Church, with applications in North Carolina, Kentucky, and Florida. As he follows the application process, he hopes to be considering options by June. While securing an appointment is his top priority, Edwin also faces the practical challenges of preparing for transportation, housing, and getting established wherever his new role may take him.

Once Edwin is settled, he will continue the complex visa process to bring his wife and two 12-year-old children from Nairobi, Kenya, to join him. He has been separated from his family for most of the past three years and is deeply anxious to reunite with them. The funds raised will help secure transportation, outfit housing for the family, and assist in getting them relocated and established in their new community.
