Hi, my name is Claudia and I am raising funds for my dear friend Edwin. He is a kind soul who has brought many smiles (and many laughs) to everyone he has encountered. He worked in NYC for many years where he made many friends in the hospitality industry. He has been feeling ill the last two weeks and finally went to the ER Thursday 05/04, the day he had a CT scan scheduled. After about a week and many blood transfusions, they found a cancerous mass in his colon. He had a colectomy surgery done yesterday and is at the start of a long road for recovery. We are hoping the best outcome and awaiting results. In the meantime, we are asking for donations. He has been out of work and needs to focus on healing He shouldn’t have to worry about his medical bills. He is currently the only source of income for his family so naturally he is terrified.
