Edwin Alexander Menjivar Velazquez is a 16-year-old boy from Chalatenango, El Salvador, who is bravely fighting leukemia. I know Edwin and his family from my hometown, and it breaks my heart to see them facing such a difficult situation. Edwin was recently diagnosed and needs urgent medical treatment, but his family is very poor and cannot afford the necessary care. The hospital where Edwin needs to be treated is far from their home, making transportation another challenge for them.
