Hi, my name is Ashly and I’m reaching out because our father, Edwin Cabrales, is fighting cancer that has spread to his spine. He’s now unable to move his legs and urgently needs more medical tests, treatment, and surgery.

With heavy hearts, we reach out to ask for your compassion and support for our beloved father. He is courageously facing an aggressive, yet still unidentified, form of cancer that has already spread to his spine. The rapid progression of the disease has left him bedridden and unable to move his legs.

This has been a heartbreaking and difficult time for our family. Despite the emotional weight of this diagnosis, we are determined to fight for him—but we cannot do it alone.

Our family is doing everything we can to get him the care he urgently needs, including:

• Advanced diagnostic tests and imaging to determine the exact type of cancer

• Immediate treatment such as chemotherapy or radiation, once a diagnosis is confirmed

• Spinal surgery to relieve pressure, stabilize his condition, and possibly restore movement
