On Friday, October 10, 2025, Edward was involved in a serious car accident early in the morning that has left him in the ICU. Due to the severity of his injuries, he had to be sedated, intubated, and rushed into emergency surgery, where doctors discovered significant internal bleeding and had to remove a large portion of his colon. He has already undergone multiple abdominal surgeries and now requires a colostomy bag. In addition, he sustained small brain bleeds in multiple areas of his brain, a severe head injury, and two broken wrists, one of which will require surgery.

This tragic event has also left Edward without his vehicle, which was completely totaled. As the main household provider, his inability to work during his long recovery has placed an immense financial strain on his family. On top of these hardships, his loved ones have been traveling back and forth to the hospital daily to be by his side, adding even more expenses during this challenging time.
