Edward's Fight: Misdiagnosis and Struggling
Donation protected
Hello,
I regret having to make an account like this. I'm used to being a donor. However, recently on June 30th, I lost my health benefits due to lack of work regarding an injury that occurred on the job while offloading a piece of 4x8 3/4 inch plywood in a parking lot with limited space. A ruptured bicep tendon was diagnosed incorrectly as healing well. The bicep injury has led to other consequential injuries as well: a left shoulder tear and three herniated discs in my neck. It's painful to do what I do for a living now, so I need time to recover between jobs. This recovery time has led to the loss of our wages and health benefits. I'm forging ahead to try and make the required days needed for the next six months. However, the struggle to support my two sons and carry all the bills, insurance, days off for doctor's visits, and PT since 2021 when the injury occurred has caught up with me. The COVID-19 shutdown, a divorce, and industry strikes in the past four years have not helped either. I have debt that seems to be insurmountable.
Thank you to all the family and folks that have helped out already in any way possible.
Appreciated,
Edward, Anthony, and Hudson
