help educating two Zimbabwean sisters

Donation protected
Hi , my name is Agnies Calkoen
When I was working in Zimbabwe in the ‘90’s as a medical doctor, I met the then 13 year old Emilia Munodowafa who used my house as a quiet place to study . She stayed in touch on and off and contacted me early last year to ask for help. Her second daughter Tino had obtained a place at the medical school in Zambia . Emilia had a business in interior design, working from Swaziland due to the politically unstable situation in Zimbabwe. Due to the pandemic, her business came to a grinding halt, and even afterwards, her services were seen as a luxury which people now are not able to afford. Seeking alternative work was not sufficient to pay for education for her children beyond primary level. I agreed to support Tino financially. Emilia’s third daughter Kuziva was due to start secondary school earlier this year, and disappointingly, business had not picked up and other sources of income were insufficient to pay for her education . I supported Kuziva for the first 2 terms, but cannot stretch to do this on an ongoing basis. Tuition fees, accommodation , food and transport for the two girls adds up to £550,- per month in total.
I am hoping to raise at least £3000,- to make sure they can both shape their lives and make a difference. I am in regular contact with the family via WhatsApp and get a real sense of how supporting the education of these 2 girls makes them see a light at the end of a tunnel.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
