I recently founded a nonprofit organization in Nigeria (HSC Foundation) and my first project is to support the education of young girls in a hard-to-reach, rural riverine community called Etono-central, Biase in Cross River State.

Etono-central is a small community and many girls are out of school due to financial hardship. Yet, even with as low as $50-100, a child’s school fees could be sorted per term or academic year. This is the community where my mother was born and raised, so I have strong ties and am determined to make a difference.

I started my support with personal funds, which covered the term’s cost for 15 girls, and would be grateful for additional support to scale up and sustain the support to the girls and the community.
