Hi everyone,

I’m a proud mom reaching out for support for my son, Eduardo, who has earned an incredible opportunity to compete at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. this July. This is a huge accomplishment, especially since this is his first year competing and also his teacher’s first time in this competition. It makes this moment even more special.

Even more amazing, Eduardo is the only middle school student from Northern Nevada advancing to represent at the national level.

He has worked so hard to get here, and FCCLA has helped him grow so much in confidence, leadership, and real life skills that will stay with him for years to come. I truly want him to be able to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Unfortunately, the cost of travel, hotel, conference fees, and meals is more than we can afford on our own right now. In order for Eduardo to attend, we also need to cover expenses for a required chaperone and his teacher, who has supported and guided him every step of the way.

We are hoping to raise $6,000 to help cover:

• Travel to Washington, D.C.

• Hotel stay (July 6–10)

• Conference registration fees

• Meals and transportation

• Chaperone and teacher expenses
