I am writing this on behalf of Eduardo Trejo, who is currently fighting to recover after a terrifying and life-changing event.

On the night of December 26, while visiting Tijuana, Eduardo was the victim of a senseless act of violence. While in the Terrazas del Valle neighborhood, he was caught in a shooting and struck twice in the back. In a moment of pure survival instinct, he managed to get himself to a Red Cross facility despite his injuries.

Eduardo is 31 years old and a resident of Los Angeles. Right now, his family's priority is ensuring he gets the critical medical care he needs and, eventually, bringing him home safely to recover.

We are raising funds to cover:

Medical Expenses: Emergency surgery, hospital stays, and ongoing treatment for his gunshot wounds.

Medical Transport: The costs associated with transferring him back to a hospital in the U.S. or closer to home.

Lost Wages: Eduardo faces a long road to recovery and will be out of work for the foreseeable future.
