July 15th, 2025 was the worst day of my lives.

That was the day we received the devastating news of Eduardo’s accident. When I saw my son and the severity of his injuries, I truly thought I was going to lose him.

Eduardo suffered a traumatic brain injury, multiple fractures in his face, and three fractures in his cervical spine. He spent three days in the ICU and later went through a very delicate surgery that lasted nearly 14 hours, where plates and mesh had to be placed in his face. He now requires physiotherapy and ongoing medical care.

His right eye was left with strabismus and vision problems, and we are still waiting to find out if he will need further surgery. His recovery is slow, and even eating is a challenge as he is still limited to soft foods.

More than anything, we want Eduardo to make a full recovery so that one day he can finally meet his father and family in England. Because of financial struggles, he has never had the chance to travel and be with them, and this is his dream.
