Help Joy with bills after Ed passes from Covid

Ed Smith is self employed and loves people.  He is married to Joy and they have two kids, Tim and Caryn, as well as two granddaughters, Lorelai and Willa. Ed tested positive for covid on April 26. He was getting better, but took a turn for the worse on May 11, and was rushed to the ER and is currently in the ICU at Virginia Mason, in Seattle. He has been diagnosed with Covid Pneumonia, with blood clots in his lung.  On the 13th he was put on a ventilator. His lung collapsed when he was put on the ventilator and a tube had to be put into his chest. The doctor said he is in stable condition and will recover; but on the 17th we were told he is now in critical condition and is now in a medically induced coma. The doctors also said they think he will be on the ventilator for six weeks, followed by three months in the hospital, and another month in rehab. We are not able to see him. The nurses can hold a phone up to his ear so we can talk to him in hopes that he can at least hear us.  We do not know how long he will actually be in the hospital or how long it will take for him to recover enough to go back to work.  He is the primary provider for his household. His wife and kids are doing everything they can to provide for the family and pay bills. These requested funds would help with expenses, including monthly bills starting in June, and for future medical expenses.  Medical bills are currently $10,000. UPDATE:
As of noon on the 18th, he is on the ventilator laying on his stomach and they hope when they turn him back onto his back they will not have to turn him back on his stomach…  he is considered in critical condition but stable. We are still hoping and praying for the best and keeping positive thoughts. All future updates will be in the comment section.
