Help Edna & Tarr Pay for the Care She Needs!

Hello. Thank you for reading this. My Aunt Edna has recently suffered some very serious health issues, including the amputation of one of her legs and (progressive) blindness. After seven weeks in the hospital, her insurance did not cover further needed continuing care. Additionally, she’s not been able to receive in-patient rehab due to unavailable beds and has been released on the recommendation of Hospice, to limited In Home Hospice Care. Edna is in deep need of 24 hours at home medical care and support but can not afford the exorbitant costs. Currently, the in Home Hospice care provides care 2 to 3 times a week for a maximum of 4 hours each visit.

Since her release from the hospital, her husband, Tarr, has had to miss an inordinate amount of work in order to ensure Edna 24 hours of care. Unfortunately, the level of care she needs is beyond the scope of time and other resources Tarr can handle on his own.
