Edith Szendry is a beloved music teacher who has brought the joy of music to so many young students through her work at Greenwood, Terra Marin, East Bay Waldorf and Golden Bridges schools. The mom of two was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. She has undergone two surgeries and is about to begin six months of chemo. She will need to take leave from her teaching job, resulting in a reduced income, and the medical bills are adding up quickly.
