I’m reaching out with deep urgency and a hopeful heart on behalf of our beloved brother, uncle, father, and friend — Edirisa Muluya.

In 2021, Edirisa was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. Since then, he has managed his condition with courage and quiet strength. However, as of June 25, his health has rapidly declined. His kidneys are now failing, and he is currently on dialysis — a short-term measure to stabilise him.

The reality is that dialysis can only sustain him for so long. His doctors have advised that a kidney transplant must take place to save his life.

What We Need

Edirisa urgently needs to undergo a life-saving kidney transplant in India, which requires:

A matching donor (blood type O, O+ or O-)

Travel and accommodation for Edirisa, a donor, and a caretaker

Full medical treatment and post-operative care

The estimated cost for everything involved is £35,000 (or over 150 million Ugandan shillings).
