Help Edie Recover
Donation protected
On Sunday, September 1st, my mom Edie Eisenschenk was out riding her Harley. She split off from the group she was riding with to go home and feed the dogs. She was hit by an SUV. We still don't know exactly what happened to her, but we do know that she has two broken legs, a shattered elbow, multiple broken ribs, a broken clavicle, a broken arm along with staples in her right elbow and left shoulder. She also is covered in road rash, lots of nasty bruises, and cuts all over.
Edie needs to have rods and plates put into her legs, arm, and possibly her ribs. She is looking at several months to a year of recovery.
Our mom is a badass, a veteran, and a hospice nurse. Even through this trauma, she still has her sense of humor. Accepting this help is difficult for her but necessary in order to focus on her health.
We are asking for donations to help cover her medical and living expenses while she works on gaining back her strength in recovery. We appreciate any support you are able to offer. Thank you for your help, your prayers, and your support in transitioning Edie onto the road to recovery.
