Help Eden Fight Aggressive Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Madeline and I’m raising funds for my cousin, Eden.

Eden is only 25 years old, and just a few months ago his life completely changed. On June 27th, he was rushed to the ER where he experienced two seizures. Doctors discovered a Grade III IDH-mutant astrocytoma, an aggressive brain tumor in his speech center. He underwent brain surgery, but not all of the tumor could be removed.

Right now, Eden is in the middle of daily radiation treatments. These treatments are exhausting, both physically and mentally. Radiation to the brain requires him to be strapped into a mask that bolts his head in place so he cannot move a fraction of an inch, while the machine delivers precise beams of radiation. He lies alone in the machine, and afterwards he is left drained, fatigued, and struggling with depression.

Next month, Eden will begin chemotherapy. This will be another long, grueling step in his fight, bringing severe side effects like nausea, weakness, lowered immunity, and overwhelming fatigue. We know this road will only get harder, but Eden is determined to keep going- he is so strong, and as I write this, my heart breaks for my little cousin.

Unfortunately, cancer doesn’t just take a toll on health—it takes away stability. Eden cannot work right now, and his job does not provide paid medical leave. He is struggling to afford rent, food, and even rides to and from his appointments. He doesn’t have a car and is too weak to walk to his appointments. Every dollar raised so far has made a difference—thanks to generous donors, he was able to pay one month’s rent. But his battle is far from over, and he still faces months of treatments and living expenses with no income.

Eden deserves to focus on healing, not on whether he can keep a roof over his head or food on the table. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward helping him cover medical expenses, transportation, rent, groceries, and basic needs while he fights this devastating disease.

Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and prayers for Eden. I love my little cousin so much, and I want him to feel the support of everyone around him during this incredibly difficult time. Anything helps.

Love always,
Eden's big cousin, Madeline
