Eddy’s Kitchen, a woman-owned, veteran-owned, and bilingual small business in the heart of North Plainfield, NJ, has been a cornerstone of our community serving fresh meals with love, warmth, and dedication to everyone who walks through our doors.
Unfortunately, we’re facing our toughest moment yet.
A recent storm caused severe flooding that completely devastated our restaurant. The flooding caused significant damage to our restaurant including kitchen appliances, refrigerators, ovens, stoves, inventory, dry storage, drawers, and more. Our dining area was also impacted. We’ve been forced to shut down indefinitely until we can rebuild and replace the essential equipment needed to operate.
This sudden closure doesn’t just affect the business, it’s also taken a toll on our incredible team. Our staff, who are an essential part of the Eddy’s Kitchen family, are temporarily out of work as we recover, and we’re doing everything we can to get back up and running as soon as possible.
Eddy’s Kitchen needs your help.
Your support will go directly towards:
Replacing vital kitchen equipment and appliances
Restocking food and supply inventory
Repairing or replacing damaged storage and infrastructure
We’re deeply grateful to be featured on News 12 New Jersey, who helped share our story and shed light on the challenges we’re facing. Their coverage has shown just how much Eddy’s Kitchen means to this community, and how much this community means to us.
Our goal is $15,000, which will help us begin the rebuilding process, though the full scope of what we’ve lost exceeds that amount. We understand times are tough for everyone, which is why we're only asking for what we think might be possible with community support.
We’ve poured our hearts into this business and into serving you, and now we’re asking for your help so we can rise again. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to reopening our doors and welcoming our community back.
From the bottom of our hearts,
Thank you.
