Hi, my name is Eddy. I’m a father from Jacksonville working hard to rebuild my life after a difficult year. I’m currently unemployed after a sudden job loss, and I’m in the middle of a long legal process to reconnect with my daughters. I want to be clear: reuniting with my girls is not about taking them away from their mother. It’s about being present, responsible, and giving them the father they deserve. They need both parents. The long time without contact wasn’t by choice. A large part of it was due to court delays and the slow pace of the legal process, which pushed everything back. Now that the court has finally opened the door, I’m attending supervised visits, the first step in a gradual reunification plan. I show up early, stay calm, and follow every instruction. I’m doing everything the court asks of me. While I work to stabilize my life and apply for jobs every day, basic expenses have become overwhelming. I’m asking for temporary help to cover one month of essential costs so I can stay steady while I secure work and continue showing the court that I’m committed to my daughters.
I’m not asking for luxury — just enough to stay afloat while I rebuild. Thank you for helping me stay stable and continue the process of reuniting with my girls.
