Hi, everyone. I’m reaching out on behalf of my dad, Eddie Terrill who was recently involved in a serious accident. He was riding his bike when he was struck by a car resulting in two broken hips and a displaced knee cap, ankle contusion and a chest wall contusion.

Anyone who knows my dad knows he’s the most loving, kind hearted, incredible man you will ever meet. He’s loved by absolutely every single person who has crossed his path. He’s always there to help others, whether it’s offering a hand to a friend in need or simply being a source of joy and positivity.

Right now, he’s facing a long road to recovery, with several weeks before he regains full mobility. He’s currently unable to work, and the medical bills and transportation costs are already adding up quickly.

We’re hoping to raise $15,000 to help cover his medical expenses, ongoing care, and the support he’ll need to get back on his feet. But mainly to provide reliable transportation in order for this to never happen again. This is the second time this year that he’s had to go to the hospital for an accident on his bike.

My 71 year old dad relies on his bike in order to get anywhere. My parents can’t afford a car and I desperately want to buy them one so that he doesn’t have to risk his safety on the road to get to the grocery store and other essential places.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference and allow us to focus on helping him heal.
