Tricia is creating this fundraiser for Eddie Tackett, her dad, during an incredibly painful and overwhelming time. Eddie has been bravely battling lung and esophageal cancer since may 2024, and on 8/17/2026, Eddie was admitted to the hospital. Since then, Eddie has continued to decline, and Tricia has been told that end-of-life care should be considered. As Eddie’s only living child, and with Eddie not being married, the responsibility for these final expenses has fallen entirely on Tricia.

This fundraiser will help cover Eddie’s burial and headstone costs so that after cremation, Eddie can be laid to rest in the plot with his daughter and have a headstone beside hers. Tricia wants to honor Eddie with the dignity, love, and care he deserves, even in the middle of so much heartbreak.
