Hey everyone! My name is Eddie, and I've been offered a membership contract with The Academy as part of their tenor line. Ever since I joined marching band in high school it has been my biggest dream and number one goal to march with a world class drum corps. Now that I've been given the chance, I would greatly appreciate any and all help I can get to participate.
Drum Corps is a very expensive activity, and aside from tuition fees, it's necessary to pay for flights, shoes, packing equipment, and much more. Tuition itself goes towards member housing, food, and education. Payment plans were set up with the assumption that members were given their contract months ago, and such I have very little time to pay thousands of dollars.
To my friends and family, I would appreciate more than words can say any donation of any amount - all of it helps, even if it's just a couple dollars. I will be personally thanking all of you individually with a special message to show my gratitude.
In addition to sending a personalized note of thanks, for anyone who donates at least $10 and requests it I will also be recording a short clip of me playing anything you want, within reason. From any corps exercise or show clip from any year, to a short cadence - I will make sure your investment is seen and appreciated immensely.
