Supporting Eddie: A Community Giving Back to Someone Who Gave Us So Much

Hi everyone,

My name is Taylor, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Eddie.

Eddie is well known in our community for photographing and supporting youth sports year-round. Many of us, myself included, have had the privilege of knowing him since our own childhood, when he captured moments from our sports days. Now, he continues to support our kids and document their journeys, creating memories that families will cherish for a lifetime. I know so many of you can say the same.

Eddie has always shown up for our community, and now it’s our turn to show up for him.

Eddie recently discovered he had a cancerous tumor and had to undergo emergency surgery. He is still in the process of recovering, with another surgery ahead of him. Despite everything, he is being forced to return to work before he’s fully healed, and the medical bills are quickly becoming overwhelming.

He did not ask me to create this fundraiser—but after continuing to ask how we could support him, he finally gave me permission.

Eddie is already so grateful for the love and support he has received from this community, and I know his heart will be incredibly touched to see this.
