Help Eddie Heal After Devastating Accident

This gofundme has been created on behalf of Eddie Parham in Candler, NC. As many in the Candler community know, Eddie owns and operates Mechanical Auto Service. Eddie has had the pleasure of helping the community for 30 years now. Customers have become family.

On May 5, 2025 Eddie had a catastrophic motorcycle accident on Smokey Park Hwy. A car pulled out of a drive then stopped in the first 2 lanes of traffic. Eddie was riding on one of those lanes. He had no time to stop, hitting the car. Eddie was thrown 25 feet, landing on the asphalt.

Eddie’s injuries include:

• Concussion

• 3 fractured neck vertebrae - he will be in a brace for a minimum 3 months if he heals well. • Busted front tooth

• Broken rib

• 2 broken bones in his right hand - he is scheduled for surgery on the 14th then he will be casted for 3 months

• 2 Emergency surgery corrected broken pelvic bones

• 2 Emergency surgery corrected broken knee bones

Eddie is bruised head to toe.

While this isn’t about me, Stacey Parham, Eddie’s wife. I am in a situation where I’ve not been able to work a proper job due to a diseased back. I’m due to have surgery but now that must be put off until Eddie is healed.

At this time we find ourselves in need of help. It’s hard to ask for.

It’s amazing how quickly the future can change in an instant.
