My name is Sarah Miguel, and I am asking for help for my father, Eddie Miguel.

In June 2025, our family received heartbreaking news. My dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, lymph nodes, liver, and the base of his skull.

Nothing prepares you for hearing those words.

Since his diagnosis, he has been fighting with everything he has. Through the pain, the appointments, and the uncertainty, he continues to hold on to hope — because he knows he still has so much to live for.

My dad is not just a patient. He is a loving father and a proud grandfather to four beautiful grandchildren, ages 1, 3, 8, and almost 10. They adore their grandpa. They need him here — to watch them grow, to cheer them on, to tell them stories, and to hold their hands.

He still has so much life left in him.

We have found a promising treatment called Hope for Cancer, which offers an opportunity to fight this disease in a different and hopeful way. This treatment represents a second chance — a chance for more time, more memories, and more milestones.

Unfortunately, this treatment is not fully covered by insurance, and the costs are overwhelming. Between medical expenses, travel, lodging, and time away from work, our family cannot do this alone.
