Help Eddie and Family After Medical Crisis

On December 31st, Eddie was working a side job when a freak accident caused his left femur to snap - the same side as his hip replacement, six months ago. He needs surgery, but the doctors are still deciding how best to fix both his leg and his hip. What they do know is that the surgery will be difficult and complicated, and the recovery will be much longer and more painful than his original surgery. They aren't sure if Eddie's left side will fully recover.

No one has provided an estimated recovery time yet because it depends on what they find during surgery.

Eddie is a father to two year old Leo. His son is his whole world, his motivation, and the reason Eddie has been able to remain positive and hopeful in the face of such a devastating blow. Eddie is very physically active with exercise being one of the most important coping skills in his life.

With such an intense and painful road ahead, the stress of medical and living expenses with no way to work has kept him awake at night. The challenge seems impossible. Any help given during this difficult time is appreciated with our whole hearts.
