Plz Help Ed Moya find some peace
My Father's truck was stolen in broad daylight outside of his work, Toy Tech in High Grove ,Ca on Tuesday 6/29/2021. Unfortunately surveillance cameras did not catch a shot of the person. One of the cameras just caught the truck driving away.
My dad is 65 years old and recently suffered a massive stroke. His truck unfortunately was also his home, every single item he possessed was in that truck. He was left with just the clothes on his back and and now homeless.
His fishing poles, clothes, tools and every cent to his name (yes he's a stubborn old man who didn't use banks, he kept his life savings hidden.. in his truck) and even his stroke medication are now gone, all because some thief decided to take a truck that wasn't theirs not caring who it belonged to or that it may completely devastate and turn someone's entire life upside down. It wasn't a new tricked out expensive truck , it was a white 2004 Chevy Silverado with missing center caps off the rims, front end bumper damage and some dents on the side. They didn't take this truck so they could strip it and make a come up on some high end after market parts, no they probably didn't want to walk in the heat so they took the first older vehicle they knew would be easy to hot wire and most likely not have lo-jack and it's not the type of truck that "stands out" that would be easy to spot out as soon as someone starts looking for it .. but that Chevy truck was my Dads Home ! He's 65 years old and worked hard his entire life just to survive , that truck was all he had. He works all week and goes fishing on weekends and in the blink of an eye his entire life has been turned upside down. Everyone who knows my Dad knows he's a good hard working man who NEVER asks for help and would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it . I'm not in the position to go out and buy him a new truck or replace all of his belongings at the moment , but I will do any and everything I can to help get him back on his feet. I'm not one to ask for help myself , I'm stubborn just like my old man lol , but I'm hoping if we all pitch in just a little we can hopefully pull enough together to get him back in some type of vehicle and get a roof back over his head. I want to thank you all in advance for any donations you can make and for taking the time to read my post .
