Ed Cherry is an immensely talented jazz guitarist, studio musician, and educator, with a long and robust career. A dedicated husband and father, he resides with his family in New York City. Last December, Ed successfully underwent the first of two knee replacement surgeries required of him. This has been a challenging period for him physically, as his mobility was greatly affected. Unable to work for several months following the procedure, and limited in his movement as he continues to heal, he has been under significant financial strain. Now, he will undergo his second knee replacement. At this time, he is reaching out for some support. He will once again be unable to work for a few months, and will gradually begin to do so after that, for which transportation costs will be high. Please consider making a much needed, much appreciated donation to help Ed provide for his family (rent, daycare, food & general living expenses.)
