Helping Ed and Lydia Rebuild After House Disaster
On July 3rd, 2025, after an intense storm came through their town, a devastating tree fell on our dear friend Ed's home, causing significant damage and displacing him and his young daughter, Lydia. Thankfully, both Ed and Lydia are safe, but their home is currently uninhabitable, and they are projected to be out of it for at least 3 to 6 months while repairs are made.
This unexpected disaster has created an immense burden for Ed and Lydia. While insurance will cover a portion of the damage, they're facing immediate financial challenges, including their insurance deductible and the costs of replacing essential items and covering expenses that their insurance policy won't fully cover.
We're starting this GoFundMe with a goal of $3,000 USD to help ease their stress during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards:
Covering their insurance deductible.
Helping to restore items and cover costs not fully reimbursed by insurance.
Providing some stability as they navigate being out of their home for an extended period.
Ed and Lydia are kind, resilient individuals who would never ask for help themselves, and are beloved parts of our community. Now, it's our turn to rally around them and show them our support. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your networks. Let's help Ed and Lydia get back on their feet and into a safe, restored home as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
