Help ECU RHC Reach the WSE Champions League Women!

Seven years ago, a group of girls from in and around Cambridge picked up Roller Hockey for the first time when they joined Ely & Chesterton United RHC (ECU).

With the support of family and expert coaches, their bond of friendship and relentless determination fueled them to train hard and compete at every level. From county matches to international competitions all over Europe, including a historic Silver Medal at the 2023 WSE U17 Women European Championships with the England National Team—the best result for England in over 100 years—ECU girls have never stopped chasing their dreams.

Now, after being crowned England Roller Hockey Female Premier League Champions, the team has earned a place in the WSE Female Champions League, where they’ll face Europe’s top teams. This is the pinnacle of their sport—the moment they’ve been working toward for years. But to make this journey a reality, they need your help.

Your Support Matters: Funds raised will cover crucial expenses like:

Venue hire and referee travel for home games.

Travel and accommodation for the team and staff for away fixtures.

The cost of the campaign is estimated to range between £12,000 and £20,000, depending on the number of games played. With very limited financial support from the club, the vast majority of these costs will need to be absorbed by the players and their families—unless we can rally support from generous donors like you.
