Help Echo the Samoyed Fight Severe Pancreatitis
Donation protected
Echo is our 7-and-a-half-year-old Samoyed, and she’s been a source of comfort, joy, and support for our family since we adopted her as a puppy. She’s not just expressive and sassy—she’s also my lifeline, helping me through PTSD by waking me from nightmares, preventing self-harm, and alerting loved ones during episodes. Echo’s love for squeaky tennis balls, head scritches, and her morning walks to visit neighborhood cows has made her a local favorite. She’s known as the “iconic cloud” and “big cotton candy” among the neighborhood kids, always spreading smiles and comfort to everyone she meets, whether it’s people, animals, or her vet team, who call her the sweetest Samoyed they’ve ever met.
Recently, Echo became seriously ill. After weeks of fighting an infection, she was rushed to the ER with a high fever and has since been hospitalized in the ICU for intensive care, IV treatments, and testing. Despite all efforts, her fever hasn’t broken, and tests have revealed severe pancreatitis and an enlarged, inflamed liver. She’s now undergoing last-resort treatments, and her condition remains critical. The costs for her care—multiple overnight ICU stays, medications, blood tests, radiology, and at-home treatments—have quickly added up, and we’ve maxed out our resources to give her the best chance at recovery.
Echo means the world to us, and our home feels empty without her. Every day without her is a reminder of how much she’s woven into our lives. We’re doing everything we can, but we need help to cover her mounting medical bills and ongoing treatments. Any support for Echo’s care would mean more than words can express, helping us bring our beloved girl home and giving her the fighting chance she deserves.
