On Christmas morning, while visiting family, our beloved pup had a horrible accident. Part of the fence unknowingly came down, and our dog Echo escaped. When we finally found Echo, she was covered in ticks, bleeding badly, and in severe pain. Her front bottom teeth were hanging off, her gums and tongue were torn, and her jaw was exposed. There was blood everywhere. We rushed her to the emergency vet immediately, terrified we might lose her from blood loss. At the emergency vet, we learned Echo’s jaw was broken and required many stitches. We still don’t know what she got caught on or what caused such severe injuries. We are incredibly grateful and lucky that we found her and that she survived and is in recovery. Echo is truly lucky to be alive.

Echo is a rescue dog who has been part of our family since she was just a year old. She has grown up alongside our children and is deeply loved. She is gentle, loyal, loving, and a constant source of comfort and joy in our home. Seeing her in pain has been heartbreaking.
