Hello
My name is Ebubechukwu. I am 27 years old and am fighting stage four Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, I am also struggling without a stable place to call home.
I have been battling this illness since last year. I started chemotherapy in September and went through four cycles, alongside undergoing surgery in October. I am now receiving 20 cycles of radiotherapy as part of my ongoing treatment. It has been a long and exhausting journey, both physically and emotionally.
While fighting cancer, I have also faced serious financial hardship. I used up my savings trying to support myself through treatment and daily living costs. Despite doing everything I could to stay afloat, I have now reached a point where I can no longer manage on my own.
At the moment, I am homeless and relying on the kindness of friends for a place to stay. Although I am deeply grateful, this situation is not stable, and it makes it very difficult to rest and recover properly during treatment.
Radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery have taken a toll on my body. I often feel weak and fatigued, and without a stable place to live, it is even harder to maintain the strength I need to keep fighting.
I am raising funds to help with:
* Emergency and stable accommodation
* Food and daily essentials
* Basic living expenses while I continue treatment
Having a safe and stable place to stay will make a huge difference in my recovery and give me a better chance to focus on my health.
Any support, no matter how small, will mean so much to me. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing my story.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
— Ebubechukwu
