Help Dad with 4 daughters Fight Brain Cancer
Hi friend!
We’re Mattie (24), Abbie (20), Gabbie (17), and Addie (15). Our Dad’s name is Ebo and we are sending this GoFundMe campaign with the utmost thanksgiving and humility for your prayerful consideration to help our family.
Our Dad…
is 45 years old and lives a very healthy lifestyle. He enjoys working out and eating healthy. He loves and serves others well and leads a church in our small town, teaching the Bible and devoting himself to the benefit of others. He believes there is great power in unity, prayer and love. As you might expect, we love him so much!
Our Dad is also one of the hardest workers I’ve ever known and used to build and remodel houses. He was a craftsman and known for cutting edge design and quality work. Sadly, the tumor significantly affected his vision and coordination, keeping him from being able to work. We are praying for and working toward him being able to work again soon. He is already moving forward in a career in real estate investing.
Our story…
It’s been about a year since our Mom passed away. Our Mom and Dad married at 18 years old and were together for the majority of their lives. They knew each other in elementary school and were high school “sweethearts”.
Losing our Mom to a Covid related illness devastated our family. Only a year later to have our Dad diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain cancer (GBM) is unbearable . This is a very aggressive, terminal cancer and extremely difficult to treat. My Dad certainly has a fight ahead of him, but he’s a fighter. If anyone can beat this, he can! To be honest though, We need your help and would love for you to be a part of our journey to beat GBM!
If you have some financial margin in your life, we are asking for your help and appreciate your financial help immensely. Your gift will help us pay for our dad’s brain surgery and for ongoing treatment. This treatment is a necessity for his survival and recovery. No amount is too small, and all financial gifts will certainly make a difference. All gifts will go though our non profit to make it tax deductible for you!
Currently…
We are working hard with all possible insurance options to offset the cost of treatment as much as possible. Despite our efforts our “out of pocket” expenses are estimated to be more than 500k.
Lastly…
As a family, we know and follow Jesus and our greatest desire is that He would receive all of the glory from our GBM journey. No matter what happens, we trust and worship Him. He alone is worthy! We also are so thankful for your prayers. Please keep us lifted up to Jesus!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your help.
