Help Ebi the Corgi: A Heartfelt Appeal for Support

Hi there! My name is Ebi, and I’m a 13-year-old corgi who has spent my life bringing joy to my family. Lately, though, I’ve been facing some challenges.

Within recent years, I have overcome surgery for the removal of a soft tissue sarcoma and radiation therapy. I’ve been a tough cookie! However, over the past few months, I’ve had difficulty using my hind legs, making it hard for me to stand or walk for even short distances. To still enjoy the outdoors, my loving parents have gotten me a wagon to take me on longer outings, and they use a sling to help me take short walks.

After a recent visit to the vet, it seems I might be experiencing IVDD, a disc disorder affecting my spine. I’ve been referred to a neurologist for further evaluation, which may include an X-ray or MRI scan. Understanding what’s going on is crucial for me to receive the right treatment and maintain my quality of life.
