My brother-in-law, Eben (40), has been diagnosed with liver cancer on the 29 of October 2024, a life-altering journey that none of us ever expected. Having arrived in Australia only four months ago, he and his family have been working hard to start fresh and build a stable life here. Now, instead of settling in, they are facing one of the most difficult battles anyone could imagine.

Eben’s diagnosis has not only brought emotional hardship but also significant financial strain. He will be unable to work for a long period of time due to the treatment and hospital visits.
