Help Easton sleep safely!

Donation protected
This is Easton and he is 14. Most of you know him and probably even know his story from a few years ago when he battled brain cancer and won! However, that brain cancer and even the treatments have left him with a lot of damage to his body and brain.

Last week, Easton had to have spinal surgery to repair some of that damage. He had a spinal fusion from T4-L5. What was supposed to be a 3 day stay in the hospital has now been 6 days and still going.

Apparently, that little brain tumor did even more damage. It left him with 2 severe forms of sleep apnea. I'm sure you are thinking, "oh, big deal! I know lots of people with sleep apnea!" And you probably do. However, Eastons sleep apnea is so severe, when he is asleep he has a respiratory rate of 3 breaths per minute! Most people have a respiratory rate of 15-20 breaths per minute when asleep. In addition to this, when he lays down flat, he stops breathing all together.

Due to this, he needs to be kept at a 30°-40° angle at night to sleep. And of course, with his new spinal fusion, proping him up with pillows won't work.

So, we are asking for all of our friends and family, if possible, to help us buy Easton a motorized bed frame and mattress. That way Easton can safely sleep at night.

If you cannot help out right now, we completely understand. We are also asking for any prayers and positive thoughts sent our way, as well.

Thank you! ❤️
