Help East Bay Dance Center after the fire
Donation protected
The East Bay Dance Center has been a wonderful community resource in Glenview for the last 30 years, with an entire generation of Oakland families taking part in all types of dance, after-school programs, and community events - and now it is time for the community to give back.
On June 8th, a three-alarm fire broke out in a commercial building on Park Blvd. It burned so fiercely that it also damaged the rear of the Dance Center's main building - and the residential building where “Miss Bonnie” lives suffered structural, smoke, and water damage. She has been told that she and her business will be displaced for up to six months while the building’s owner works on repairs.
Bonnie Sita has always been committed to helping local families, and as she navigates the hurdles of keeping her business running in temporary quarters - storage solutions, logistical planning, administrative work - local parents, friends, and former students want to support her, so we created this GoFundMe page.
Any amount you can give is welcome and appreciated.
Thank you!
