Hey everyone! I wanted to share some news about my incredible sister. She recently underwent brain surgery to fight cancer, and she's been showing so much strength and courage throughout this journey. We're all so proud of her!
Vicki has been through some challenging times, in 2004 with the French Gulch fire, and again in 2018 with the Carr Fire. In both fires the town of French Gulch was evacuated. Vicki chose to stay and do everything in her power to save her 125 year old beautiful Victorian style house. She single-handedly climbed on top of the two-story home and put sprinklers there to help protect the roof. She succeeded her house did not burn, but unfortunately her garage did not make it through the fire.
The local news was there and spoke of her “the girl on the roof “ she made the news that night. Her efforts paid off . She delivers food and clothing for those in need..Before Vicki was diagnosed with cancer she cared for her friend who had cancer and helped her through until she passed. Now with her back to back brain surgeries she needs our prayers lots and lots of prayers and love and support
As you can imagine, the costs for lodging, food, gas, medical expenses, and bills are piling up. That's why we've decided to start a GoFundMe page to help ease the financial burden on her and our family.
Every little bit helps, whether it's a donation or simply sharing this post with your friends and family. We believe in the power of community and supporting each other during tough times.
Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support. Let's come together and make a difference for my amazing sister. ❤️"
