This weekend a sweet young man was injured in an accident. He is currently in ICU with severe injuries. His doctors say the next three days are critical. Ian is being raised by a single Momma who desperately wants to be by his side. Right now she and her two sisters are making plans to take turns at his bedside because SHE has to work. Her sisters have also decided to share the burden of her rent and utilities.

That is what family does, right? This family holds a very special place in my heart. Ian is my Milli’s cousin. He is a sweet, caring, smart and very close to his Momma. His Momma is a warrior. She’s been through so much in her life and I’m so proud of the Momma and woman she has become. My heart aches for what she and her family are going through right now.
