Help Ease Tracie's Family's Financial Burden

Hi, I’m Tracie’s mom Cathy Myers. Tracie fell ill unexpectedly on Friday afternoon. Her youngest daughter Paige found her laying on the bedroom floor unresponsive. Paige called me and I told her to call 911. She was taken to Memorial Hospital North and stayed just one night due to her critical condition, at which time she was transferred to Memorial Hospital Central.

She had a series of tests and was quickly put on a respirator. Since she only had 1 kidney which only worked at 20%, her kidney began to fail, along with her liver. The doctors had her on dialysis as well, which didn’t help at all.

She passed away about 3:45 Sunday, June 9th. We were all in agreement to remove the respirator.

Tracie struggled being a single parent, high rent and basically the cost of living. She was unable to build up a nest egg for emergencies.

Her daughter Melanie is taking the brunt of the financial burden.

Any assistance for funeral costs and medical costs would be greatly appreciated. Tracie is leaving behind an 11 year old daughter, Paige and she will be going back to Iowa with Melanie to raise.

Leaving behind a daughter at such a young age has been devastating for and all of our family.

I know times are so tough right now but honestly any amount would help ease this burden for Tracie’s daughters.
