Help Ease the Seger Family's Medical Burden

Hello, My name is Joseph Scott Seger and I'm hoping to raise funds for my Dad, Scott Seger, and my mom, Arlene Seger, who is taking care of him. My dad has gone by many titles: husband, brother, son, father, Gramps, coach, friend, and SUPERMAN! We’ve called him “Superman” because of his positive attitude as he fights whatever hardship comes his way over the years- “You can’t hurt Superman.” Since June 2023, my dad has been dealing with something new which has led to difficulty speaking, swallowing/eating, etc. After countless visits to various specialists and numerous repeated tests, after a year of uncertainty, unfortunately he was finally diagnosed with bulbar onset ALS.

As of today, Monday June 3rd, 2024, he is at Rush awaiting surgery for a feeding port.

Though I struggle to write this, I am beyond confident that if there is anyone that will fight as hard as they possibly can its my dad. 

The financial hardships facing my parents include mounting bills for medical visits and procedures, necessary equipment, nourishment, travel to see doctors, and home care etc. I'm asking you, from the bottom of my heart to please share what you can to help support them, even the smallest bit would help ease the financial burden so our Superman can focus more on spending time with all of us, including his granddaughter, Minnie. 

On behalf of my Mother Arlene, brother Nick, sister Jennifer and her husband Alex and daughter Minerva, Uncle and brother to my dad Karl, my loving fiance Kate, and the rest of the Segers and family and friends, we love you Dad. You can't beat Superman.
