Friends, our beloved friend Caitlin Naramore is suffering greatly and urgently needs support with medical care and basic living expenses as she fights to heal.

As many of you might know, for the past few years, Caitlin has been battling a harsh and debilitating case of Long Covid. Unable to work a regular schedule, she has endured relentless cycles of progress and setback—some days offering hope, and others leaving her barely able to function. The emotional and physical toll of going from better days to days where she can hardly move, from holding hope to feeling utterly hopeless, has been exhausting.

Her journey has been made even more difficult by complications from some pre-existing conditions, as well as a more recent diagnosis of Lyme’s Disease. This combination has created a perfect storm that has pushed her body far beyond its limits.

The most frightening moments, however, are the ones that have landed her in the hospital, fighting for her wellness—including right now. Her message to me from the ER last night broke my heart.

While medical understanding of Long Covid has improved in the past couple of years, many of the most effective treatments are still not covered by insurance. Caitlin desperately needs the time, space, and financial breathing room to explore medical options, pursue effective care, and focus fully on healing without the crushing weight of expenses.

Because asking for help is profoundly out of character for her, I gently urged her to allow a GoFundMe to be created—and she agreed. That alone tells you how much pain and worry she is carrying.
